Layering a baggy sweater over a collard shirt is super cute and really can amp a look up. This look kind of makes the collar act like a necklace. Mixing shades of the same color can be complete perfection, like the girl in the picture to the right shows. But it can go really bad fast if you use some pastel shades and some normal shade. If that made absolutely no sense, look at the picture to the right. She is wearing mostly purple and all of those purples are pastel. if she were to mix a neon purple with that it could wind up looking like Stevie wonder dressed her (no offense to Stevie, I love that guy). Play around with texture when wearing pastels! Like jean, knits, Leather, canvas and just about anything else you can get your hands on! Play around with accessories too, chunky jewelry with this look can look 10/10. Some awesome shops to find pastels: www.zara.com www.forever21.com www.hm.com www.necessaryclothing.com www.lulus.com www.gojane.com | So Long Peplums! Hello Pastels! I'm a huge fan of this trend because it is so versatile. You can wear pastels in a super casual way or go full glam! I'm obsessed with mixing pastel prints with other pastel prints. It can get out of hand easy, so try breaking it up with a flat pastel color piece to tone the look down (like the girl in the left picture did with her jacket). A SUPER easy way to wear pastels is by wearing neutral colors as the outfit and just layer with a pastel. This look is one of my favorites. Not only is it super cute, but it looks like you spent a lot of time putting the outfit together. When in reality, you just have a super basic outfit on with a fun jacket or sweater! The jacket the girl is wearing to the left is from Zara! Love this look! Hope you guys enjoyed! If you have any trends you want covered, comment and I can make a post! |
